Who we are

Easter Seals of Southeastern Pennsylvania has developed an innovative preschool for the children of parents who want a superior, research driven and enriched program. Our program features a child friendly, safety oriented facility, enclosed playground and excellent, caring and certified staff. Our expertise in teaching children with disabilities has given us unique insight into "how" all children learn. Our certified teachers and teacher assistants provide an exciting, stimulating, developmentally and age appropriate learning environment. We are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and the PA Department of Education, which require and monitor high academic standards as well as all important safety standards for the children.

What we offer

Develop your child's special gifts through:

1. A researched, interactive, story-based, picture book curriculum that includes reading, math and science literacy. All taught one-on-one and in small groups, to prepare children for kindergarten.

2. A gym program that includes movement and yoga.

3. A separate music instructor who correlates her activities with our curriculum.

4. Creative expression which is encourage through art, dramatic play and crafts.

5. Introduction to writing using the "handwriting Without Tears" curriculum.

6. A science curriculum concentrating on an eco-science experience, offering a real-life approach to science.

7. On-site library with book loan program.

8. Self-responsibility taught through a daily routine that encourages independence and self-control utilizing positive behavior supports.

9. Assistance offered for toilet training.

10. A regular agenda of field trips and special in-school events.

11. Two nurses to meet the basic needs and teach healthy self-care.

12. Activities and progress shared through an on-going communication booklet, progress assessments bi-annually and weekly newsletters.

13. Parent meetings led by licensed social workers with programs that enrich the journey of raising a child.

PM preschool class
12:30 - 3:30pm - 3 hour session - $13 per session

5 days per week - $65.00
4 days per week - $52.00
3 days per week - $39.00

Lunch Bunch - 11:30am - 12:30pm - $6.50/day
Enrichment Hour - 3:30 - 4:30pm - $6.50/day
(Both available for 204 days per year)

$32.50 per day / $162.50 per week

The $35 non-refundable registration fee includes assessment with a nationally standardized screening test.
