Summer Camp

Easter Seals camping program provides an important social opportunity for children and young adults with disabilities. There are specialized summer day camp programs for children, teenagers and young adults in each of the five counties in the surrounding Philadelphia area. All five Easter Seals Day Camps are accredited by the American Camping Association. Easter Seals Day Camps have over 150 highly skilled counselors, activity coordinators, lifeguards, nurse and volunteers to assist all campers in exploring new ways to concentrate on their abilities and have fun.

The campers participate in age appropriate activities such as arts and crafts, swimming, music, athletics, group games, nature activities and special events. All activities are adapted to the campers' specific needs, providing them with a summer filled with therapeutic recreational activities. Easter Seals summer day camp also offers job corps, a specialized program to meet the needs and interests of teenage and young adult campers. Job corps provides simulated work experiences and includes training on the interview process, workplace etiquette and professional appearance.

Summer camp provides an excellent opportunity for campers of all ages to participate in fun activities that they will remember for the rest of their lives.
