Growing with Christian: A Year at Easterseals 

What does it mean to be ready for what’s next? At Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania, the answer looks different for every child. 

Throughout this school year, we’ll follow Christian, a five-year-old Easterseals student, as he learns, plays, communicates, builds friendships and discovers new ways to navigate the world around him. From choosing the morning song on his iPad to learning in a classroom adapted to the way he sees, Christian’s story offers a glimpse into the small moments—and big milestones—that happen every day at Easterseals. 

As we celebrate our 90th anniversary, Christian's story is a celebration of what has always been at the heart of our work: meeting children where they are and helping each one become ready for whatever comes next.  

Note: Christian is a composite character whose experiences are drawn from those of children served by Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania. His story was created to represent the many ways children learn, communicate, and grow in our programs while protecting the privacy of the children and families we serve.
