Pediatric Physical Therapy
Physical therapy focuses on helping children improve strength, coordination, balance, and mobility.
Overview
Pediatric physical therapy focuses on helping children improve strength, coordination, balance, and mobility. Therapy addresses gross motor development such as walking, running, and navigating different environments safely and independently.
Physical therapists often work with families to incorporate stretching, strengthening, and positioning strategies, especially for infants and toddlers with conditions like torticollis. We assist families in obtaining, fitting, and learning to use adaptive equipment, such as walkers or orthotics, and regularly collaborate with insurance providers to support access to essential tools for home and community participation.
